Carole Fleischman is the C.E.O. of Pioneer Programs Insurance Solutions, LLC where she oversees the development, underwriting and administration of the national programs within her division. Prior to joining Pioneer in November 2008, Carole was President of Arrowhead since 1998. Previously Carole was the Senior Vice President at Stewart Smith West where she created their Nationwide Programs Department and handled the negotiations of a Contracting Program, as well as a Courier and Nursing Home Program. Before that, she was the Managing Vice President and Senior Vice President at Alexander Howden North America. She also spent time as an Underwriter and Branch Manager at Industrial Underwriters. Her career started out at CNA Insurance before moving on to General Accident Group and Hartford Insurance Company.
Mike is the President of Pioneer Programs Insurance Solutions, LLC. He currently oversees the underwriting and administration of the current programs within Pioneer, and is actively engaged in the development of future programs and opportunities. Prior to joining Pioneer in July 2018, Mike was the SVP - Head of E&S Casualty for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions. Previous to Swiss Re, Mike also was an SVP - Primary Casualty Department Manager for First Mercury/ CoverX/ C&F Specialty where he oversaw the acquisitions and merger of Emerald, CoverX, Valiant Insurance, C&F Specialty, and American Safety and managed each as a combined entity. Prior to First Mercury, Mike was a VP for General Reinsurance for 13 years, and managed both the Seattle and Los Angeles branches during his tenure. Mike started his career as a casualty underwriter for Chubb Insurance following his graduation from the University of Southern California.
Evan Wu is a Vice President at Pioneer Programs having joined the underwriting team in October 2014. He brings valuable underwriting experience from Houston Casualty Company where he was previously underwriting mainly construction wrap-ups and project specifics. Evan started his insurance career back in 2007 as an inside broker at CRC Insurance Services where he was mentored by one of the largest wrap-up producers in the nation. In 2011, he joined a start-up wholesaler, R-T Specialty, where he built his own book of business focused on construction and work comp accounts before deciding to move over to the underwriting side. Prior to his insurance career, Evan was a commodities analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York before moving to Southern California to pursue an entrepreneurial career as a partner and developer of a new concept fast casual restaurant chain.
